everytime i stop and and my fan working with outside air, i smell something like gas or exhaust in my car, or when i open my window i smell the same thing... i vagged my car and everything seems normal... does anyone know anything about it?

 

figure out if u smell gas or exaust. they smell different. if its exaust, you could have an exaust leak in your engine compartment which is dangerous. have you dont any modeifications to your turbo/cat/exaust?

 

gahh i have an exhaust leak just off my turbo and my car smells like exhaust now. so i cruze with the windows down

 

lol, careful with that when winter comes arund. that could be potentially dangerous.

 

ya its texas so i can mostly drive windows down. i just have to not be lazy and go tighten the 2 bolts

i don't have any modifications on my car... and the smell comes when i stopped, otherwise there is no smell... it is most likely as gas smell but maybe exhaust too, i have to check again.. but i have no strange noise coming from the car like a leak at the exhaust system...

When I eat alot of mexican, i get a lot of strange noises in my car and gas smells as well. I though it was normal, but now I am not so sure.

My wife thinks its abnormal, I think its perfectly fine.
