Default GIAC

I had my car chipped 4 days ago and I can really feel the difference in power. Its great but when I put the pedal to the floor I get some boost surges but they seem to come and go. I have a forge DV and I switched the spring to a higher one but i still get the boost surge. I thinking of getting a new N75 valve as I heard they are supposed to cure boost surge in chipped cars. Or can it be the ECU just getting used to the chip? How long should it take for it to get broken in ?

I would venture to say change the N75 valve because while the DV is a new Forged 007 unit, the N75 could only be the other cancer.

Put an OEM 710N DV in if you have the Forge 007P. The piston DV is a little slower to respond than the 710N. The N75H valve worked fine with the GIAC K03 program, but the K04 programs do NOT like the N75H or N75J.

^^^ It could be that you are floating the shaft on your turbo due to over boost (this will cause compressor surge). How many miles on your turbo? How many psi are you running?

Yea I think you're right it probably is the trubo.. I think it's going to blow soon. It's at 96000 miles, boosting around 16 psi.
