it wasn't a sensor problem... The stock K03 turbo wasn't strong enough to pull enough air through the larger innercooler

FYI - I would hold off on a FMIC unitl you are ready for a full K04 or other turbo upgrade. I experiemented with this and my car did not accept the FMIC. It cooled down the air too much and was throwing major codes since the car wasn't ready for it. You can run a GIAC chip w/out a FMIC more efficently. You are wasting your money until you are ready for a full upgrade. Definatly do the GIAC chip though, it was the cheapest best mod i did to my car... It will save you the headaches of why your car isn't running correctly with a better innercooler.

I had to wait for my FMIC. I ran a FMIC with GIAC and the audi 225TT injectors and new file and it still didn't run correctly. I pulled it off and ran my stock innercooler again and it ran better. I had to detune the car with the larger injectors until i upgraded the turbo. 2 months later i installed the K04 and FMIC with the p-16 injector file and installed a Miltec 2.5" exhaust at the same time. This time it all ran perfect, except that my stock suspension couldn't handle the new power and was very sloppy causing acceleration problems. I broke an engine mount doing this. so then a month later i forked out the money for Coilovers and solved the sloppy acceleration and traction problems i had.

Hope this helps for upgrading... I've been thorugh the headache's ... Save and upgrade the whole system at once or very close together and you'll have an awsome car
