Happened with me a few months back. I just ripped her open and broke the side molding piece that the locking bars pop into. 14 bucks for a new kit that included both side locking pieces.

Im talking about the 2 plastic squarish pieces that clip into the inside walls of the glove compartment. They are the plastic squares which the prongs on the glove box door pop into when you close it.
