A buddy of mine owns a body shop and told me he can get any part from audi for 30% off with free overnight shipping. Is this a good deal or or dealerships so overpriced that I would still be paying way too much? I need to buy a bunch of parts- brake pads, rotors, floor mats, s4 bumper, fuel injectors and prolly alot more.

 

Well you might be able to find some parts for less but the free overnight shipping will save you big on those larger items, i.e. the S4 bumper. Plus you know that your getting the genuine good stuff strait from the dealer. In terms on installation though either do it your self or look around for a shop in your area, you should be able to find the same quality for less in that aspect? out of curiosity where is the dealer you are going through?

 

Well my buddy made me promise not to mention the dealer on the forums since he should only be using the discount to buy parts for wrecked cars that he's fixing but I will say I'm in Florida and its in a different state but REAL close. I already used the discount once to test it out and they shipped overnight for free for a $35 part .

 

Well that certainly sounds like you got a good thing going, too bad that dealers on the wrong coast

 

your friend just has the dealer whole sale discount, most body shops have it

 

I work for a dealer and I give good customers the same discount as I would wholesalers minus the tax exemption there is nothing wrong with it at all
