someone is offering me thier xenon headlights with evertything included for $470. They only have 800 miles on them.
is this a good deal?

I don't know if it's necessarily a "good deal", because isn't that pretty close to the new price? I'd be more curious as to why they're selling them so soon.

he is selling them because he's taking the car to germany and cant usa them there

 

Thats a decent deal. I would get a pair of european spec lights though. They have a better light output, and look damn better with no orange corners.

 

Oh, they're OEM's? I bet that is a good price then. I'm surprised to hear that they can't be used over there. I wonder why not?

 

I have a friend who's grandfather just died, and he lived in Poland and had a heavily modified Audi TT. I asked him why he didn't get the old man's car shipped back here...he said it wasn't worth it because our laws are so much more strict concerning emissions and lighting. If the laws in Poland are that loose, I can't see Germany being too far off. Although it could be true I would take care in buying the lights.
Don't pay by any insecure means I would say, unless you know the guy pretty well.

 

where can i buy euro spec ones? can i not just take the orange corners off?
