Default Integrating Sony T610 with Audi screen

I have just collected my shiny new A4 Avant with the factory fitted phone kit and adapter to the Sony T610 phone.

Although I have contacts stored on my sim card they are not displayed on the monitor, although if I receive a call the number of the caller does come up on the monitor.

Does anybody know what I have done wrong in the setup, as the Sony manual and the Audi manual don't really help to resolve how this might work?

Many thanks

Shinny

PS - does anybody else with an auto Audi feel that the break pedal is so much higher than the accelerator pedal, that its a little awkward to drive?....or is that just me getting used to it?

Cheers

Try uploading your sim-card memory to the phone's memory, see if that doesn't fix the problem. Go to the phonebook, under advanced "Copy from SIM"

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply Jedbas

I have the contacts in both the phone and the SIM card but the system doesn't seem to want to pick up on either memory.

the manual does specifically say thet the system will automatically download the contacts but only from the SIM, so I guess I'll need to take the whole lot back to the Audi dealer and see if they can get to the bottom of the problem.

Cheers

Shinny
