Default Is this a good deal for this A4?

I found an A4 locally for $17995

Ad for 2002 A4

He said after taxes and fees I'm looking at $19600, does this sound fair or should I keep looking?

I hate the wheels and would definately be replacing them with the nicer looking wheels that I think comes with the sport package. This dealership has a couple of A4's some with the sport package and some without, is it worth getting one with the sport package?

Thanks!

seems like a nice car with low miles. try to get them to 17.5-18k out the door with tax, title..bla bla bla. see if they give in. i bought my 01 in april of '06. for 13k out the door with 50k on her. they wanted 15.5k at first. try to bargain with them..... there are many A4's out there(probably alot at the place your looking at)

Beutiful car, I just bought the exact same car in May, except it had black interior and sports pkg. Mine had 34k miles and I got it for 18.5 then I paid $600 for taxes and tages. Just make sure the carfax repot is clear and seller or audi dealer has all records for the vehicle.

Good Luck!!

I'd love to get that car for $16k

Is it worth looking at the another one they have that has the sport package? I'm in love with the wheels from that package but not sure if the extra money is worth the package as a whole. I'm sure I can grab the wheels from a member here who upgraded or ebay.

go with the sports package, you won't regret it. plus they will probably give you a deal since you'll be buying a more expensive car.

If you check dealer listings and KBB that is a respectively good price for the car. Now if your planning on modding the car after you get its really not worth the extra dough in my opinion. I have the sport pkg and looked for it specifically because it was more stylish than the others and I wasn't planning on doing a ton of mods for a while. For the most part just make sure it's history is clean and drop some offers. Dont get stupid and ask for something unreasonable though. Even if you pay full asking price, which you probably wont, on the car its still under retail and private party value.

Again Good Luck!!!!

Oh, and what fee's equate to the extra $1,600 other than the taxes and tags?
