Ok so I made a post in the OT about how I got a new job and I wanted to get rid of my tip and get a new Audi. I REALLY wanted to go for a B5 S4 or most of all a 2.7T A6 with 6spd. But for both of those, since I am an 18 year old kid, I would be paying out the butt for insurance. Plus with the way gas is going and the way I would probably drive a bi-turbo... gas bills wouldn't be pretty either... lol

Anyway, someone suggested a B6. I didn't think that I wanted one, but now the more I have been looking at them I really do like the body style. Plus they SEEM to be more reliable than most of the B5s, Is this true?

I thought that seemeed cheap, but 11.5K for a 2002 with 67k miles is really cheap but its about right for no quattro 5sp.

 

I have noticed that there are equally or more mechanical and electrical issues with the B6 compared to the B5. Im not just saying that because Im B5 biased... Just browse the forums, there are a lot of bitter B6 owners out there. I could name 5 members who were on the verge of a mental break down due to issues they were having at some point in time that were near impossible to diagnose or get to the bottom of, but Im not trying to make it personal, so, whatever. I say get a 99.5tqm and BT that bitch. The B5 still looks like a newer design imo. Thats pretty impressive for an 11 year oldchasis/design. B5 is classic, stick with it.
