Green Air Filter vs. K&N Air filter
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Green High Performance Air Filters?
I was thinking of dropping in a K&N filter in my A4, but I came across the Green Filter.
Any thoughts on it?

(sry for so long) there as been many disscussions about this... Neither... People argue that K&N are good and since its a pannel filter that it will let more air in then your dense stock paper filter... Studies have shown on audiworld that K&N filters infact HURT your car... They allow more dirt in your car leading to dirtier engine thus leading to dirtier oil... Also people really dont know this but when you recharge those filters with that oily cleaner stuff it has been known to destroy your maf. The oil from the cleaner will get onto the maf and destroy it... reason being is when ever you turn off your car, the wire in the maf that reads the air flow heats up really hott to burn of any excess particles, if that oil cleaner stuff gets on it and you turn it off it cannot burn it off and ruins it... although you can take it out and clean it with rubbing alcohol, most of the time it will be shot. Basically in a nutshell your car has a set amount of air it can take at a time before each combustion there is no noticeable gains with that filter in the first place so why bother???
I have the K&N in my B7 and it sounds more aggressive than the OEM filter when you get on the gas.
I would imagine that it is because of more airflow. As far as damaging the car, I've heard arguments for and against - like most other things.
Have I ever heard of a car that actually encountered problems because of an air filter from K&N? No.
I'd love to see some additional info on the subject though.

Yes i new that socal_A4, coz me MAF died pretty quickly after using a K&N
The oil gets all over the MAF and gives u bad mileage too, so for the benefit of a few horses is it worth the possibilityof destroying and MAF?

EvoMS intake if you want to drop a nickle other than that stick with stock. the turbo makes it so you can only have so much air comming in at a time anyway.... as much as that baby can pull... the turbo is a regulator in a sense...
