Guess what I'm doing today!??! GRILL
If I was you, i'd prime it now... and by tomorrow you'd prolly be safe to sand it. I couldnt sand mine, so now it has a slightly textured surface... it matches the fins very well though, so I'm cool with it. And yes, the alcohol is a good idea... isopropyl is pretty universal stuff, from cleaning brakes to getting surfaces ready for paint... you really cant go wrong. -- though I hear driking it is bad. whatever!
I'm gonna say no... it'd be easier... but you should be able to do it with it in the car. It is just some clip with little "teeth" holding the quattro badge to the grill.
got my ****, i'm sanding it right now and i'll prime it tonight so i can sand it again tomorrow...i need to find some cheap one-piece headlights somewhere! i don't even want ecodes, just the us-spec projectors, i'll clear em myself...[:@][:@][:@][:@]
yea, i've been checkin back at ebay every few days, but they're all the cheap aftermarkets, and they always go up above 300 bucks...i don't understand why there's so many people that buy ecodes, and yet there's never any OEM us-spec headlights up for sale...
I'm thinkin about paintin it silver, good idea?

does anyone know if that black grill would look good on a silver audi??? or do most of you guys doing this have black cars? hence it would prolly look good only on a black car?
