Yeah, I think I might try that

 

i would DEF just paint the chrome parts (the rings and the outer trim)...you can remove both pieces fairly easily with a couple small screw drivers....prep it with some 220 grit sandpaper (although i actually had to use 100 grit on the outer trim piece)....clean the pieces with some alcohol...spray on a primer coat..wait a day...lightly wetsand the primered pieces with some 220 grit paper, then spray on a few base coats...finish it up with a gloss coat or two, and you've got a beautiful, custom grill that no one else has...

 

hey that aint a bad idea.. painting it silver! well at least it sounds like a good idea.. as far as looks go hmmm it might not look like whats expected....but if you do end up painting it silver u betta post sum pics!!! if it looks hott ill do it as well! DO IT DO IT DOIT!!! lol

 

I think the black is cool, even on a silver car...it makes the grill look bigger.. = more agressive, sportier.

 

congrats headshok, would you ever consider blacking out the audi rings on the grille?

The chrome around the edge of the grill, i left it flat black, paint.

 

I think i am going to paint mine antracite to match my wheels, along with my mirrors and M3 lip spoiler.

eww maybe the mirrors but dont paint the m3 lip a diff colour than your car.. that wouldnt look good, IMO. the mirrors the grill the wheels... sure. but leave it at that

And to the above question, no, I wanna leave my rings silver. I like the rings

audiboy... what kind of signal bulbs do you have? do they light up orange? I cleared my corners today... but still have orange bulbs. I want something that doesnt look orange, but will light up orange... i think such a thing exists
