I'm the same way, for now I'm gonna keep the 12v through college and then get a new/newer one, but only like two weeks ago i wanted to sell her and get a 1.8t sooo bad it was killing me.

 

b5's are tight

 

thats a good question, honestly I drove a b7 a little while ago and absolutly loved it. the 2.0 just pulls and seems like it has so much potential. I love how the b5 looks but the 2.0 is smooth and buttery.

 

B5's are the s*** i just want to know his philospy behind getting another one. besides just getting quattro and manual.

 

Maybe money? style? could be a number of things.

 

Because I need to be able to afford all the mods Im going to get and I stilllike that generation. AEB doesnt have a map sensor and is dbc, which is a good thing. No stupid secondary air pump, less vac lines, andbigger exhaust ports (right?) The downside will be the timing belt tensioner, coil packs, and ICM. Plus Ill have to worry about previous maintnance and on time oil changes, etc. I think Ill be lucky to find someone who took care of their car as well as I did/do mine.

 

Yeah thats the only downside. The B'5s are going to have high miles which SUCKS.

 

Well mine has almost 93k on it and it runs like new minus a noisy water pump. Im sure its got another 93k left in it.

 

Only other b5 I'd buy is the S4. Same goes for the b6. The b7 2.0T S line would be perfect for me.

 

Who wouldnt that be perfect for. lol
