Default Hahahaha, I love my mechanic

So I bought all the stuff to do a timing belt. Contemplated doing it myself and then ran out of time. So I was telling my mechanic this story and he says... Give me $150 bucks and all the bits and i'll do it for you.

I really wanted to do it myself but, I figure for the sake of 150 then why not.

Just find a local enthusiest shop and get to know the guy who owns it

Ive been with my mechanic since my first Volkswagen. In the community (VW, Audi) hes considered the best place to take your VW/Audi in the Seattle area, whether you need basic maintainance or performance tuning (his specialty). Helped me out a lot...he opened shop on Sunday when my car broke down on me and got me back on the road so i could get to work Monday night

No, he definitely knows what he is doing. He owns his own workshop & works on all euro/jap cars. He's very good at what he does. I mean i'm only paying him for his time really. It will be cash (no invoice) so all sweet.
