I seem to have lost oil pressure...... The pride & Joy is ill.
I have so far dropped the oil pantaken oil pump off & it all looks good. I cleaned out the pick up, not enought there to block anything up. Changed oil filter & everything... No change... It appears there is no oil getting to top end?

 

Is the oil pump working? Could be a blocked passage to the valve area.

 

Though I'm a newbie, from what I have read if you are experiencing an oil sludge problem you will want to go through a cleaning cycle ASAP (check other threads and other forums) in order to bring it back to factory specs.

I'm planning on having an oil pressure check next oil change to check the status of potential sludge.
