Default SIGL chip

I am looking at a 98 1.8T with a SIGL chip. The owner said that SIGL is a german brand similar to MTM. I searched the net and this forum but found no results. Anybody familiar with this chip?

never heard of that chip sorry man your best safest bet would be to stay with a reputable tuner such as GIAC or APR

most people i've talked to like to buy bone stock cars when planning to tune them, because modified cars are more likely to be more beat up by the time you wanna buy them. never heard of that chip either.

I am buying the car from a close friend for a good price. With all the mods he have and the freebies Ill get, the price is still lower than a stock one. and I am quite sure he hasnt abused the car. He is more of an enthusiast than a racer.

I would have preferred a GIAC or APR chip. from what I have been told, the local audi club made some tests or comparisons using different chips. GIAC doesnt perform as good as what you guys experienced. They have better results with the neuspeed and best with the SIGL. I dont know why? needs proper tuning maybe? They said it could be the environment we have and the quality of fuel available.

BTW, i think this SIGL chip has been bought by upsolute. I cant confrim it though. All my searches turned up blank.
