has it happened to you before?
today when i switched the radio to cd, it displayed "no cd". i was 100% sure there were. then i switched mode and turned on and off several times but cd was not working. damn it! audio is one of my most favorite parts of audi. after i got in school's park deck, i went to check it immediately. the door of cd changer was open(it is very difficult to keep the door closed all the time) and the cd magzine was ejected. all right, i pushed the magzine down and it was ejected right away. i tried couple of times. no luck. i took out the magzine and found there were some water on it. omg! audi's seal is very tight in my opinion. although the stupid rain has kept pouring for more than a week, i don't think it can break in. anyway, it might get in when i opened the trunk, the water on the trunk poured down and splashed. however, it didnt work before i checked it. sigh, i cleaned the cd in and out and tried once more, no luck. so i have to wait and hope it will come back to work again later.
i am thinking to do something to keep the cd door close. do you guys have any good idea?

thx panda, very good point. if the lense is dirty, the computer may reject loading.
i went to try the cd again after read your post. i turned on the car, opened the trunk, insert the cd magzine into the slot, this time it stayed in loading position and i heard the clicking. i thought it was ok. got into the car, waiting for the music. it displayed cd1 which i don't like much. i switched to cd2 and waited. nothing happened. switched to cd3. then it displayed no cd again. went back to check the cd. the magzine was ejected. pushed it in and got rejected rght away. i took out the magzine and checked the cds. i found cd1 had some water drops on it.
so it may fit your thought. i got a dirty lense that started to reject loading. after that, at some point i got water onto it that caused it didn't work anyhow. i will wait for sunshine to dry things out totally. then try it again. no matter whether it works or not, i will get the lense cleaner if it allows me to load something.
two more questions,1. if you insert an empty cd magzine into the slot, will it stay in or get ejected? 2. most time you open the truck, is cd door closed or open?
