Have some questions for you A4 owners...
Hello friends,
This is my first post ever on this forum so please bare with me. I am getting an Audi A4 soon. I have found many. I can basically afford any Audi A4 from 2009-2011. I would like to know what I am getting myself into. How long have you had your A4? What's be most you have had to spend on it at once? Are Audi's as bad as lots of people say they are? I will be getting it in the next month. I am 19 years old, going on 20 and I'm in Los Angeles.

I have a 2008 that I bought about three years ago. So far the only real expense I have had was the timingbelt/water pump replacement at 105k miles. Cost me just over $900 at an independent repair shop. I have also put tires on the car ($105 for each one) and a few other small repairs that I either did myself or had a shop complete. My car had 50k when I got it and now sits just over 150k (I drive 49 miles each way to work). This is my second Audi and I have had a great experience with them. If you can get a CPO car you will have additional piece of mind if anything major does go wrong.
Hey man! I am 19 as well, and I am very lucky. I got an awesome job, and about a week ago, I got myself a 2012 Audi A4, 31K, certified used. Got the dealer down big time to 23,750, 25,500 out the door. Put 15K down, loan 10,500. I love it, and they are awesome cars. I recommend using auto trader, and other websites online to really get a grasp of what the market looks like around you. I stayed up until 2AM one night laying everything out. The time will pay off.

There are those on here that have the horror stories as well. With any car you hope you get a good one. I have heard good and bad about BMWs as well. I really like the 2 door BMW, but for a four door the Audi just looked nicer to me and the four door BMW. Plus the Quatro system is just so hard to beat.
