Head Lamp Issue (1999 A4 2.8)
Issue: right front head lite does illuminate on low beam (high beam is fine)
Can one of the experts in the forum give me an idea how difficult it would be for a non-mechanically inclined person to either:
A. replace the head lamp in my A4
B. replace the bulb
Based on my above explaination I am not sure what part I would need to order to fix the problem.
I appreciate and respect your feedback!!!

Each headlight holds two bulbs, one for low beam, one for high beam.
Changing your headlight bulbs:
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the appropriate headlight cover on the rear of the housing.
3. Gently wiggle off the wire connector from the lamp bulb.
4. Remove the bulb from the spring holder.
5. Reinstall your new bulb in the opposite order.
Audi halogen headlights require H7 bulbs.

Mission accomplished, thanks! I wound up going to NAPA, and it cost me $13.99. Yeah, I'd be willing to be that was a lot cheaper then driving to the dealer and buying an 'Audi' authorized part!
Take care.
Take care.
