Default Head Unit Removal

I need to remove the existing head unit to work with the wires in the back but no dealer seems to sell the keys to do so. does anyone know where to get these keys or if there is another way to do it?

You can make your own with some hanging file folders. Use the metal that makes them hang.
Here is a how to I found: http://potato.smashedhat.com/pattjin/audi/tool.html

I bought the ones from ebay and it wouldnt work so I took a fingernail cliper with the little metal file attached and used the file then I pulled the one side out so it didnt lock back in while I was doing the other side... basicaly any thin flat metal object should work though

its real easy to totally screw up the insides of the clip if you are not sure what you;re doing. My friend did that with a "fabricated" piece and now his radio wont come out even with the correct keys. Matter of fact - he still has one key stuck in his radio... heh heh
