hi everyone,
I know this has been talked about but nothing has helped so far maybe im missing something.

Headlights function fine as in daytimes, highbeams, fogs. But at night when i turn them on they are so dim, the high beams are great. I changed bulbs, and even got new
headlights all togeather.( the housing.) but still are so dim so i changed angles, bulbs, and entire housing., is there a relay that might be gone or something else i need to check. Because i did have issues early which corrected itself where the lights wouldn't turn on all the time, after 5 minute drive they would but now its turns on when i want but not very bright. basically the lights are so dim, my fogs are the ones showing me any road at night.

only thing i can come up with is if i switched the wiring as in put the highbeam wiring to the daytime lights and vice versa. and just keep my high beams switched on all day even though they are wired to the day time bulb.

any suggests. thanks guys.

if it matters its an 1998 audi a4 1.8t.

 

I would just go for HIDs really. seems like your best option
