First post.... because this is my first Audi
I just bought my 1998 A4 with about 100,000 miles on it recently.
First I had that airbag light... but it went away after I moved my driver's seat around a little bit (hoping it doesn't come back)
Really the only problem is that the headlight/taillight malfunction light keeps coming on in the instrument cluster... although no light seems to be malfunctioning. It's not really a big problem but it does beep rather frequently at times...
The technicians at the service center couldn't find what was wrong with it, and I haven't had any more luck.
Has anyone had this problem?

 

Andy , sometimes the incorrect bulbs get installed in vehicle with bulb failure systems. All the bulbs have to be specific wattage or it will **** off the bulb failure system.
Also don't forget to check the license plate & third brake bulbs.
