Help me!!! i dont know what happen but my headlight washers decided to stop working right when it gets colder than hell here. and the roads cake up my headlights. inthe summer when i bought the car the washers worked when i was just showing them off but now that its cold they are not working. one does not pop up and the other pops up but does not go down. and they both are not spraying. has enyone ever had this problem? is it common and if so what do i have to do to repair them take off buper or more? or will they just pop out. oh yeah by the way its a 02 A6 quattro... any comments can truly help. thanks

 

Probably just a good cleaning. Are you running actual washer fluid as opposed to a blend with water or just water? Mine just pull up and out for a good cleaning. Then again, my A6 is a little older. Try a good soak with some hot water and a mild cleaner.

 

make sure they didnt freeze if your just using straight water.. it should just be pull the bumper and pull the washers out

 

mine have stopped working now thats its cold out. and i use straight fluid...

work great in the summer though (when i dont need them as much!)

 

no i dont use water or a mixture i have that de-icer in them....so i should just pull them out and clean them? hand brush or car wash??? this does suck that they dont work in the winter only in the summer

 

These never work for long on Audis. Either the pump breaks, or the nozzle.
