Default heating issues

Okay I baught my A4 in florida where I doubt the heating was ever used and I live in canada so the heating is basically essential to survive out here but my car at best blows out mild air. It's a 97 1.8t and I set the climate control to the highest setting and it's just mild air. When I set a car to the highest setting I'm expecting for it to get too hot too quickly, especially on a luxury car. What could be the problem? Every other car I've had or been driven in blew out way hotter air.

I assume you are waiting long enough for the engine to heat up before expecting hot air.

Anyway, it may be a clogged heater core.

Also, you should have gotten one with the cold weather package. Heated seats OWN!

I did a quick search and nothing interesting came out, I'm not going to spend hours researching through this site for a quick question. Secondly this whole forum consists of the same questions being asked over and over again. If it wasn't, what threads would still be alive?

Sorry to waste your time with the suggestion that you take "hours" using the search function.
