It took a lil while to get the hang of it, but now I do it reguardless of how hard i'm driving, it becomes second nature. Now well have to see how well it works with great tires :P

heeltoing can be tricky. it really should be called big toe little toe because thats how everyone does it. but itds all about matching rpms before downshifting

When I do it, I don't ever bring the clutch all the way up into neutral. I just blip the gass while the shifter is passing through N, thinking about it this probably isn't the best way to do it because then the intermediate shaft won't be at the correct speed which could still place wear on the syncho's am I right?

I guess I'll try it the 'correct' way.

ah dudes You might think its not cool, but my dad can shift gears without presing the clutch. its so cool.
he first acelerates then releases the throtle just a bit so there wont be any stress on the gears takes it off into nutral, then throtles down a bit and shifts into next. he can do it so fast almost that the car fills like automatic. he also can do it oposite way too. like the way heel to toe but no clutch or brake. Cool ye.

Shifting without clutching really isn't that difficult, you just gotta have the right amount of pressure on the shifter ****.

I take it by "oposite way" you mean downshifting? ;-)

It's cool to play around with every once in a while but it just can't be good if you do it alot.
