help, broken car
alright , heres the deal i put in a boost gauge last week and saw i was only running at 5 psi of boost. now when i changed my dv valve i noticed the hose that was connecting the dv to the intake manifold was busted, so i decided i would replace it. so i did that and boom i was boosting 8 psi. so i turned on my chip and was spiking at 18 psi and holding at about 14-15. well long story short i was on my road and pulled to about 4500 rpms 1st threw third and then threw it in neutral.. when i put it into 4th to pull again, i was going about 50mph i let out the clutch and pushed the gas and almost immediatly i heard a VERY loud pssssh noise like a hose blew off or my turbo blew. i lost power and when i would try and start it back up, it would start, sputter and stall. the only way i could keep it running is if i pressed the gas. so when i tried to move it again i reved to about 3k and started to move and when it started to boost i heard a terrible noise, or when i started to move, both happen at the same time. and of course it died again.
if you made it this far i would be happy to here any suggestions. by the way it wasnt leaking anything and didnt overheat. thanks
