Default RE: HELP garage door opener

Did myhomelink garage opener on my 03 A4...what a freakin pain in the butt! Unsure if the 01 is the same set-up process.

Hold the homelink button (anyone of the 3)down until it starts flashing. Then take the garage door opener remote and hold it near the front bumper (passenger side). Press the garage door remote button and hold. The parking lights will then flash when programmed.(This is how the directions made it sound)

The worst part of it was the garage doorremote would not program the homelink. Had to bring the car up to the garage and press the button behind the garage opener motor for mine to program. Worked on the first try.

Hope this helps.

have an 01. it wasnt that bad, but im not sure exactally how i did it. it involved pressing a button on the actual garage door motor because it has that security thing so every time u open the door, it scrambles the codes or something like that

ill try to get my manual later today and find it
