Okay, I cant get a scanner till around noon conisdering its turkeyday. thanks for your advice, I will have updates later on tonight.

 

So I just scanned my car and it said:
MAF or VAF a circuit low input P0102

any ideas where to start?

Get a electronic cleaner from RadioShack and clean your maf sensor. make sure it's completely dry before you put it back on.

I ve done that...no dice.... i think the sensor is shot

 

Unplug your maf (electronically) and see if it starts.

 

What do you mean by electronically? Just unplug the sensor I hope, it doesnt start either way with it plugged in or unplugged. But im gonna hit up some salvage yards tomorrow to see if they have a MAF

 

If it doesnt start even with it unplugged, then the problem is not the maf, but probably the maf wiring harness or something totally unrelated. But that maf fault code does point the MAF/maf related wiring. Hopefuly someone can help you with diagnosing a wiring problem, I normally suck at that kind of stuff.

 

Okay.... so where can i find the other end of this MAF wireing harness?
