Ok that makes sense..And yeah im using jack stands...I was still afraid at first to go under there even w/ jack stands. I just have the front 2 wheels up w/ 2 jack stands holding the car up, then 1 more on each side that are set 1 little notch lower from the jack stands holding it up, just incase for some insane reason the jack stands im usining break.

 

Do you use about a 1 1/2 foot extension w/ a swivel extendor at the top to get to both of those bolts..And also the nut is a 12mm and the bolt is a 13mm correct?

 

No i use extention from the bottom, did you read my post?

 

yeah thats what i ment my bad...ok now i know im at least using the right tools, im gonna go give it another shot..I will update this post in maybe 20 minutes.

 

You gotta just keep at it, its a pita. Theres nothing anyone can really tell you, you just gotta figure out what works. I find that having an extra hand is ideal for this kind of thing. again, 6 bolts, just takes imagination.

take the back end of the Y pipe off so it will move around. that will let you get to the othere bolts.
