I am finalizing my plans to purchase a new 2007 audi a4. It will be Black on Black 2.0T FWD 6 speed manual.

I am trying to finalize my package purchases and heres my situation. I Absolutely need a Navigation system which will set me back $2k. I am trying to decide on the convenience package for $2100 or the S Line package $3400. The price difference of $1300 is not too big of a problem but I can only afford to pick one of the packages. What really gets me is I really want both, I want the sportiness of the S Line package but the comforts of the convenience package. I am leaning towards the S Line because I am young and I want a sportier car.

Which one would you choose and why? For those of you who have B7 audis which way would you go and what packages did u get. Any regrets on the packages

P.S I have a very stupid lame pet peeve on the manual shift ****. Are the gears (R 1 2 3 4 5 6 ) illuminated at night???Any pics?

 

GET THE S LINE... dont mean to shout but if i was in your spot i would get the s line with out even hesitating... F the convenience

 

I would skip the navigation system and buy a tomtom or Magellan Roadmate for 500 dollars.

Or join AAA for 60 dollars and get free MAPS.

 

no illumination on the **** and I would go with the S-Line Package too. You can't go wrong by having that package.

 

so why are you not getting the quattro?

 

Thanks for all ur opinions...I am not getting the quattro because the quattro with the options I want are tooo expensive. I really need/want the audi nav...and I can only choose one more package, s line or convenience. I am pretty much convinced of the S line package over the convenience package because I really want a sportier ride plus I dont need a bunch of the excess crap on the convenience.
