help needed asap

when i put my car into R lights started flashing and car wouldnt reverse unless i pressed the gas really hard...i then put it in D and the check engine light came on.....wuts goin on?? its drive fine now but check engine light is still on!![/align]

drives fine dont know why stupid light is on..could it be an o2 sensor

Not an 02 sensor... It helps if you tell us the yr/engine you have. But regardless of that, if you have a CEL, go to autozone and get the ecu scanned for codes and post them up here.
