I have been having CEL problems since the first day i got my TT in Sept. Well, I put yet another MAF in and as of Friday, no CEL, and the RMPS are holding better. I disconnected the battery to clear the CEL, and put at least 150 miles on it over the weekend. I went to get my inspection today, and it failed the OBDII test because the O2 sensor ant the cat converter were not ready yet. I was just wondering if there was a drive cycle that it had to run through until the computer was able to get that information. I always thought it was 50 miles or so. My inspection runs out tomorrow, any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Any time you reset the ECU it resets the emissions readiness. It will reset when all the sensors go through all the ECU test. It can be 50mi, or 100mi.

Just drive it, let the car get really nice & hot.
