But yes, whats your purchase budget, mod budget? If 190 hp isnt enough, the mods for the 2.8 are slim... exhaust is probably the most worthwhile, and you might get like 15 out of it? so 205... a chipped 1.8 will take you to the same 205 hp. chip and an exhaust on a 1.8T would give you a bit more again... and you've got about 1200 - 1500 into the car... getting a 1.8T to 300 hp though is a fair bit of work, so the bolt on supercharger shines in that respect.
