help with vag codes

Default help with vag codes

Hey guys. My buddy had 2 lights on his dash regarding his brakes. 1 of which seems to be the abs switch, correct me if im wrong.

The car is a '99 1.8T AUTO

Address 02: Auto Trans
Part No: 8D0 927 156 BN
Component: AG5 01V 1.8l5VT USA 8508
Coding: 00000

1 Fault Found:
00526 - Brake Light Switch-F
27-00 - Implausible Signal

1 Fault Found:
01206 - Signal for Duration of Ignition Off Time

If he isn't having any problems, clear them and see if they come back. The HVAC could have been stored for months/years.

00526, check the brake light switch behind the brake pedal.

I cleared them and the codes still come back so would this mean he has to replace the switch behind the brake pedal?
