Hey tell me everything I need to know about driving my A4 in the snow
Northstar opens in a month and weather permiting I will be up there sooner than that. I have never driven in the snow before and I can't even remember the last time it rained. I have...
2001 A4 1.8t Quattro
Sensa( or something I forget) tires, they are M+S rated
The tread looks pretty good so I don't think I need new tires, should I even bother getting chains? Should I get new whiper blades and anti freeze? What else?
Any other winter driving tips are appreciated.[sm=smiley1.gif]

chains are always goot to have just in case...... my suggestion is go play in the snow in a big parking lot till you get the hang of it, but main things to know and Point and shoot..... ie turn the wheel the way you wana go and give her some gas, the quattro system is sick in the snow, im gunna miss it I loved driving the audi in the snow even more than my 4x4 truck
yea quattro is awesome in the snow...but remember that it's not the end to all ends. it has it's limits with stock suspension and how good your tires are. some kid on here drove his Audi into the front of a freakin store and there was no snow then....so just be careful. but like my signature says "when in doubt...gas it"
yea my summer tires rocked in the snow but then I went to snow tires and OMG it was insane the things I could do but like he said dont push it to far it does have its limits
Remember, quattro makes you GO faster, it doesn't make you stop faster. Leave lots of room in front of you to stop.
Winter tires are great or even M and S.
