HID bulbs...gay question...need answer...
I want to get some HIDs for my 01 A4...but they have a ton of different bulbs listed, H1, H2, H3 so on and so forth....I know I want the OEM white 6000k I believe but I dont understand the bulb sizes...does H1 mean highbeams or something??
The H1, H2, etc. is the actual size of the bulb and its designation. Do you already have the factory Xenon (HID) lights? If so you need a D2S bulb. But if you just have halogen bulbs you would want a H7 I believe. 4300k is the OEM temperature and is pure white. 6000k is still white but has a bit of blue tint. The higher you go up in temperature the less actual light output you get and the more blue/purple look you get.

it was pretty gay, assuming he could have just typed in "bulb sizes" or "hid conversion" or even "vvme" to find one of the ten million threads we have had about anything and everything lighting recently
