Hello everyone....I installed hella ballasts and bulbs about a month ago in my halogen housing and everything was working fine until tonight. I turned on the headlights to see it flash a bright red or orange color instead of the normal blue. One of the bulbs is brand new and they are both doing the same thing. It returns to the normal white color afterwards also. What could be causing this? I appreciate your inputs.

Both are 35W phillips xenarc d2s. Also when one of them blew it started flickering orange and popped but they are not flickering like it did before it blew. The thing that broke on the one that blew was the little stem. Thanks again.

 

Well if they are only a month or so old, you may want to contact the seller cause sounds like they are no good. I have philips xenon bulbs too and they never do anything like that.
