Default HID Question

I just bought some H7 8000k HID kits for $210 shipped. I'm really want to install them but im not shure if i want to cut open the back of the headlight cap. the part the open to get to the bulb. Is there is better way, instead of cutting it? If i do cut it, would any water get in?

I thought H7 conversion bulbs just plugged into the sockets.

those one ur talkin about r those normal blubs, not HID
HID conversion kit cost around 200, halogen blub with HID look cost around like 50 buck

Yea, i bought the xenon kit, and no its not those fake blue bulbs you buy from autozone. Well, i bought it from internationalperformance on ebay, for 210 and its the same ones as philips but lower price....the problem is, that the wire that connect to the ballast connect to the bulbs and i have to cut a hole in the bulb cover and i want to know if there is a different way to do this?
