It origonally used 55 watts and now uses 35 watts. A 7 ohm
resistor that can handle 20 watts in parallel is needed.

Do I also install that on the side that isn't plugged into anthing now?

All I know is that im not goign to deal with that darn signal light... worse case senario im going to switch over to the plug and play installation...
