Default High mpg?

not sure if you can see from the pic, i scored 40.6mpg over a 11mile drive home from work. highest ever this is only interesting because no matter what, when i fillup, i constantly get 25mpg based on my own calculations. go figure.

wow thats really high...I think that thing is always off by a few mpg, because every time I do a test its like 1.5-2mpg higher than what I get by miles driven/gallons added. I usually get about 24mpg all around which is decent I think for how I drive, but every once in a while i I will get high 20's if I drive like an old lady.

Does anyone really want to hear this from me again.... I'm consistantly getting above 30mpg. Last tank I managed over 450 miles.

300+ miles from a tank is easy. Keep your car light, in good running order, and draft off everyone!

actually i average 400 to 420 miles /tank. that is ok, considering i use about 16.5 to 17 gallons before i fill up again. that high milage over my 10 mile trip home was a result of not hitting a single red light. it involved freeway and surface streets, but the majority of it was downhill, with one 1 mile area of uphill. if i hit a single red light, im guessing, the avg. milage would have been closer to 30ish.
