I have done that, on our drive back to Cali from KY. In the car were my gf, her 14yo daughter, myself and luggages in the trunk. Driving at around 65mph steady non stop for 4 hours, of course my gf was driving while I was asleep(was her turn to drive).I was in awe when we stopped and saw the trip meter. She drove 265 miles and only used 6.4 gallons( should've taken a pic of it)The trip meter was always reset at every fill up.
