Ive got a 1997 a41.8T quattro. what is the idle RPM on these cars?? Mine idles at 1000rpm when cold and drops only to 950rpm when at operating Temp. I dont know but thought it should be around the 750 to 800rpm mark like many other cars?? Any help. Cheers

 

A bit high. Normal is 800 to 850 warm idle.
