Default HKS type 1 turbo timer

I just bought the hks type 1 turbo timer and it came with install instructions for every import car out there... no audi instructions tho... go figure. I have a 2000 1.8tQ 5 spd and was wondering if anyone else out there has this turbo timer and if they had any success with the install. I would like to mount the turbo timer in my upper cup holder but thus far i cant find a DIY for anything at all. If anyone knows a DIY for this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no use the manual for the greddy because they say what wires go where, as far as ign, 12v, rpm, and gnd, then look at the generic hks manual to see what color wires are ign, 12v, rpm, gnd and go from there
