Default turbo timer???

I've been very interested in getting one since all my buddies with their hondas and chevys having them on. I just didnt know which one i should specifically look for and the difficulty of doing one on a car like ours?

I have a audi a4 2000 1.8t MANUAL 5 speed. i assume these keys are programmed in the cars. Just hoping for some advice on this topic really

A turbo timer allows the car to run for a specific amount of time without the key in the ignition. The premise behind this is so that you do not have to sit and wait in your car for fluids to run through your turbo to cool it down. Most timers can be programmed to either determine the amount of time the car needs to run in order for "sufficient" cooling or they can be set for a pre-determined amount of time regardless of how hard you run your car. They aren't too hard to install if you have some mechanical insight. There are a couple good write-ups on this forum and on audidiy.com
