Push button start is rather simple to hook up...The starter is grounded and already has the main 12+ source going to it all of the time. All you have to do is throw a 12+ signal to the small wire on the starter.. The push botton will have one 12+ source going to it and when you turn the key forward you push the button that is wired to the small wire on the starter which is the signal wire and the car will start..You dont have to disconnect the signal wire from the factory just attach the new one on the starter with the oem wire..

Are you wanting to run a oem RS4 button? Or are you just wanting a starter button? If you just want a general button use one off of a Kenworth or Peterbuilt Semi as they are nice and small and have nice trim ring options..

I hope I am somewhat of a help..I am a ASE certified master tech for class 8 equipment, but cars are similar just smaller scale..

I've been toying around with the idea of remote start, I'd have to do some funky wiring to trick the neutral safety switch into believing that the car is an automatic. I'll have to have a custom switch/sensor made up so it will only start when the car is out of gear and the parking brake is on. Not sure I want to go through with it, though.
