I dont understand this. There was a honda civic that looked completley stock (probably around a 97) and he was infront of me at a left turn, he punched it, I punched it, and he pulled away from me. I just dont get it....Granted..I just got my audi a couple days ago but I dont see why he pulled away so quickly.

 

what year is your car? is it 1.8T or 2.8,3.0?

Hondas are the cheapest things to make quick.

Looking stock doesn't mean that it is, plus, those cars weigh about 15 pounds!

 

I think I might have trouble optimizing my turbo as well seeing how this is my first turbo car. There are times where on 1st and 2nd I dont hear the turbo spooling. I really have to hammer it down to get the turbo going and it only really kicks in around 2700RPM so I get a huge jerk when it starts spooling.

 

I guess Im being niave then.

 

get a chip and a dv. u'll feel a big difference

 

Or the Civic could have a B18C5 swap, and still look and sound almost stock. That will give your chipped A4 a run for it's money.

Hmmm ok. Ive been researching up and down but I cant find a defenitive answer to my chip question. I think for the dump valve im going for a forge 006. I guess for the Chip would GIAC be the best for balancing out the first 2500 rpms till the turbo spools up?
