i run my friends worked d series civic and get him every time. its scary though cause i cant get more then a car away from him. i wanna find a 1/2 mile to run him on and see what really happens cause in a 1/4 i only hit the top of 3rd gear and sometimes 4th if i have a nice lead.

Get a chip and dv, you'll be much happier.\
And even then, you have to always keep the revs at 3k or better if you're wanting to go fast. If you're launching, do it at 3k, get it moving, then floor it, when you shift to the next gear, you'll already be above 3k.
