My car has recently devoloped a honking noise. I imagine it is boost leaking from somewhere because my boost will drop from 15 and then to 7 . Can the diaphram honk on a BOV like it can on a DV? I have had a Forgee 004 for about two months now. I also would like to add that it only happens under low to moderate acceleration and it is inconsistant. Under full acceleration boost holds fine and all is well. Any help would be appreciated.

 

piston valves dont honk. Look for a leak or tear in the charge piping/hoses

 

are those the pipes before the intercooler on the passenger side of the radiator?

 

check everything from the turbo to the TB.
