So i recently tried to put oil in my car only to find that i could not get my hood open..the hood release lever works inside and my hood easily popped. however when i went to lift the latch on the outside of my car, it would not let go. Ive called around to several body shops and everyone says theyll "look" at it but they sound very unsure of the issue. I dont wnt to get over charged just because Im a female with an Audi. Has anyone had this happen to them before ? Id rather be able to go to a body shop and be able to tellt hem exactly whats wrong and the parts i need and such, rather than go in clueless and more vulnerable to being taken advantage of. Thanks!
