My best friend had the same problem with his Bimmer. Was a real B!tch to get out. Sandmans got the right idea with the WD40. Rock that out and see what happens.

We'll I sprayed iw with WD40 and waited, and waited, and waited. Ran the car a few minutes to warm up the wxhaust and I was rewarded with a nice curn.

Finally took it to my local guy and he replaced it for me. Best 25 bucks I've spent.

Well, i dont have money for the o2 sensor right now, so it has to wait.(Had to spend ~$500 in school books)

Was wondering if there are any MAJOR issues to go witout it for another 2weeks??

I wish i had a 2000, $23 compared to $103....sigh

If your sensor is malfunctioning, the gas consumption will be high. The sensor measures the oxygen and tell the computer to either put more gas or less for the mixture. If it failed, it will tell the computer to put more gas - hence the increased of gas consumptions.
Can you run the car without it? Most of the car that my in law modified for the track has no O2 sensor and catalytic converter. They run the car without it and they don't care if they used more gas because they only run 1/4 mile at a time.
